About Helix
Who we are
Nira Wealth Ltd, trading as "Helix" is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17098405, incorporated on 17 March 2026. Our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
We build Helix, a non-custodial software tool that lets anyone send and receive USDC stablecoins using a phone number, an exchange deposit address, or a self-custody wallet. Helix is our flagship product; the same underlying technology is also licensed to remittance operators (SROs) and payment service providers (PSPs) via our partner channel.
The problem we're solving
Cross-border money movement is broken. A £200 remittance from London to Mumbai today typically costs £4-8 (2-4% of principal) and takes 2-5 business days via SWIFT/SEPA rails. For the £100bn+ annual flow from the UK to South Asia, this is £2-4bn in extractive fees per year, borne by working-class migrants sending money home.
Stablecoins on cheap L2s change the math. A £200 USDC transfer on Base costs less than $0.01 in gas and settles in 2 seconds. The bottleneck is no longer the rails — it's the on/off-ramps and the recipient-side experience.
Helix solves the recipient experience. Instead of asking the recipient to download a wallet, learn crypto, and figure out which chain, the sender creates a claim link, the recipient opens it on their phone, and picks the receive-method that suits them: a crypto wallet they already have, a fresh Helix-hosted sub-custody wallet, or a direct deposit to a WazirX / Binance / Coinbase address.
What we are not
We want to be precise about what Helix is and isn't, because it affects how partners and regulators engage with us.
- We are not a bank, e-money institution, or money transmitter.
- We are not registered with the FCA or any other financial regulator in respect of the Helix product.
- We do not custody user funds at any point. All USDC is in self-custody wallets controlled by the users themselves.
- We do not handle fiat directly. Fiat ramps are provided by BVNK Limited (FCA-registered EMI) under their own licence.
We are a software company that builds self-custody wallet tooling, smart contracts, and a UX layer for stablecoin transfers. We do partner compliance, KYC, and Travel Rule for fiat ramps by routing users to licensed partners.
Our team
We're a small team of engineers, designers, and operators with backgrounds in payments, fintech, and consumer crypto. The team and advisors are listed on request to partners under NDA.
We work with a small set of long-term advisors and contractors (legal, compliance, security audits). For partner due diligence, our registered office, company number, and SIC code are all on the public Companies House register and can be verified at find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/17098405.

Funding and stage
Helix is currently bootstrapped, with a small capital runway funded by the founders. We are not currently raising and are focused on shipping a working product, signing our first B2B partner (target: a UK-licensed EMI such as BVNK), and validating unit economics with 5-10 pilot remittance operators across the UK→South Asia corridor.
